Visa

Non-EU citizens may need a visa to enter Germany. All information on visa and entry to Germany can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office in English and several other languages.

Please check first for citizens of which countries a visa is required. If so, you will find information further about the application procedure.

Admission could be additionally restricted due to the corona pandemic. The currently valid regulations can be found here. They are subject to change up until the symposium.

Travel information

Braunschweig and the PTB Campus is accessible via the international airports of Hannover, Berlin or Frankfurt and with the German fast train ICE or by car. The city of Braunschweig has a well-established public transport system.

Public transportation in Braunschweig

Braunschweig Main Station

Bus number 461 to "Lehndorf, PTB". Leave the bus at the "PTB" bus stop. The bus stop is located right in front of the main entrance to PTB.

The bus transfer to the PTB campus in the morning and back in the evening is offered by the conference. The buses depart from the three conference hotels offered.
